19.9 Find Files Containing Specific String


From the current directory list any file containing strings like ausdm04 and ausdm15. Use grep with -r (recursive), -w (match the whole word) and -l (list the filename rather than the lines found):

$ grep -rnwl . -e 'ausdm[01][0-9]'
