8.3 Netdata for Monitoring Systems

20200518

The netdata package provides an extensive collection of some 250 charts based on some 2,000 metrics collected from a Linux system. Once installed visit http://localhost:19999. The application includes its own web server monitoring this port by default. The configuration file is available as /etc/netdata/netdata.conf and exposed as http://localhost:19999/netdata.conf.

To allow remote hosts to access the metrics, edit /etc/netdata/netdata.conf add * to the IP addresses bound to the socket.

        bind socket to IP = 127.0.0.1 *
