31.39 Flutter Devices

To list the currently available devices, we use the devices command. The first device is the default for the run and build commands.

$ flutter devices

3 connected devices:

SM G930F (mobile) • ce0546032702670f20 • android-arm64  • Android 8.0.0 (API 26)
Linux (desktop)   • linux              • linux-x64      • Linux
Chrome (web)      • chrome             • web-javascript • Google Chrome 90.0.4430.93

Under this scenario a Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) running Android is attached and we ran this command on a GNU/Linux laptop (Ubutnu) with the Chrome browser running. Since it is listed first the Android device is the default target for a run. This will build an Android apk package and side load it on to the phone.
